AUDITION DATE ANNOUNCED FOR UPCOMING DES MOINES PRODUCTIONS OF “CAUCUS! THE MUSICAL” AND “UTOPIA – THE IOWA MUSICAL REVUE”

DES MOINES, IA (July 13, 2011) – Right Brain Productions has announced audition information for both CAUCUS! THE MUSICAL and UTOPIA – THE IOWA MUSICAL REVUE, two Iowa-themed musicals by Robert John Ford to be presented in Des Moines in December.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 14 beginning at 6:00pm at Plymouth Congregational Church, 4126 Ingersoll Avenue in Des Moines. Auditions are open to the public and no advance sign-up is necessary. More than 20 roles for men and women age 18-70 are available; a stipend is provided for all cast members. TICKETS ON SALE JULY 1st FOR UPCOMING DES MOINES PRODUCTIONS OF “CAUCUS! THE MUSICAL” AND “UTOPIA – THE IOWA MUSICAL REVUE”

DES MOINES, IA (June 28, 2011) – Right Brain Productions has announced that tickets will go on sale Friday, July 1st for both CAUCUS! THE MUSICAL and UTOPIA – THE IOWA MUSICAL REVUE, to be presented in Des Moines in December.

Both musicals – by Iowa-based playwright Robert John Ford – will be performed in repertory at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines’ 160-seat Stoner Theatre throughout the month of December. Twelve performances of CAUCUS! THE MUSICAL will be presented from December 8th through 31st, and ten performances of UTOPIA – THE IOWA MUSICAL REVUE will be presented December 15th through 31st.
